The antenna is fed with a short assembly similar to the loading coils. I cut a piece of PC board, bolted it to the PVC riser and used it to mount an SO-239 coax connector. Some wire simply connects from this to the antenna top and bottom sections.
When the antenna is assembled, I attach the ground radials to the PC board with an alligator clip.
