.To modify the TS-850SAT so it can transmit on the 60m frequencies, you have to change one diode on the digital board from position 11 to 9.
Remove the top and bottom panels and digital board as described in the battery change. Next, find the row of diodes in the middle/left of the board. Move the one in the D11 slot to D9.
Note - read and learn the regs about 60m, the channels and power limits. Transmitting outside the ham bands is illegal

If you make this change, be sure to check your battery as well. If you have the original battery, change it now before it leaks and ruins this circuit board.
